Nothing says Canada better than hockey and moose jerky… unless it’s MAPLE SYRUP and CANADIAN WHISKY! Try a refreshing take on the classic whisky sour:

Maple Syrup

Lime Juice

Canadian Whisky

Ground Cinnamon

In a shaker, mix 1 part maple syrup with half a part fresh lime juice. Fill with ice. Add 3 parts Canadian Whisky. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass, rimmed with ground cinnamon. Top with club soda, if so desired… I prefer not to dilute my whisky.

NB I use rather large martini glasses, so my exact formula is 3 tsp lime juice, 6 tsp maple syrup, and 3 shots of Canadian whisky. Adjust to your stemware volume. Miss. O.
